Remember Fred Hampton
Fred Hampton Sr. (August 30, 1948 - December 4, 1969) was a leader among men acting as the Deputy Chariman of the Illinois chapeter of the Black Panther Party for Self Defence. He was killed in his apartment by the same police that terrorized the communities in which he fought to liberate.
Remember Steven Biko
Stephen Bantu Biko (December 18, 1946 - September 12, 1977) founded the Black Consciousness Movement in South Africa that organized and mobilized many Black youth to attempt to bring Apartied to it's knees. He was murdered while in police custody.
Remember Albert "Nuh" Washington
One of America's longest held political prisoner prior to his death on April 28, 2000. Black Panther Party for Self Defence member victimized by the federal government and forced to spend the remainer of his life in prison.
